Whole House Remodel
This house near the water in
Annapolis, Maryland, is a rebuild and complete renovation of an
existing rambler that was damaged in a fire. The new house features a
large garage, a country
style front entrance and a large front porch to take advantage of the beautiful
Annapolis
summers that attract so many visitors to the area. The symmetrical gables
and cottage style
windows keep continuity throughout the house and are juxtaposed by the large
stone entryway
with it's own unique bracketed gable and arched window with a charming seat on
the interior.
Bethesda, Maryland
Great Room Addition

This elegant addition in Bethesda,
Maryland was inspired by the need for a new kitchen and social space
in a house that has a strong connection to the family that lives in it.
The 18' x 24' addition allowed us to
open up the remodeled kitchen to allow for communication with guests and views
to the outside via
the beautiful new window seat at the rear of the addition with an exposed Tongue
and Groove ceiling.
The architectural detail and molding stays true to the traditional style of
Bethesda homes that makes this area so charming.
These renderings of the space that is being built truly make the project come to
life rather than seeing it
on the architectural plans.
Chevy Chase, Maryland
Front Porch Addition
In an area close to Bethesda,
Chevy Chase, Maryland has very similar architectural characteristics and they
come to life in this front porch addition on to an existing painted brick home
just outside of Washington, D.C.
The addition adds ample new space to the house for gatherings and dinner parties
with its beautiful teak floors,
beaded and barreled ceiling, and traditional style iron rail. The gable
roof accentuates the portico created
by the barrel roof and centered teak staircase.
